Arrowood Vineyards & Winery

THE STORY

Founded in 1986 by by Richard and Alis Arrowood, the winery has produced age-worthy wines from  sustainably and organically farmed vineyards west of the Mayacamas Ridge. Since 2006, the winery has been owned and operated by Jackson Family Wines. 

The winery is located in the historic Sonoma Valley, a small sub-appellation in the heart of the county. Often described as a warm pocket in a cool region, this rolling AVA is particularly well suited to Cabernet Sauvignon, the signature wine, and  produce limited quantities of other noble varieties from some of Sonoma’s acclaimed vineyards.

Over the years, they have continually expanded their vineyard holdings. Today, the estate owns vines in several appellations Russian River, Dry Creek, Alexander Valley, Knights Valley and Carneros. Generally, they produce no more than 20,000 cases per vintage.
