Champagne Vincent Bliard
History
From the cooperage initiated by Eugene at the beginning of the 20th century, we have preserved his love for wood Viticulture then arrived through his son, Clément, and was passed down to us In the meantime When Hélène and Jean Bliard (our grandparents) made the choice of organic viticulture in the 1960 s, alongside six of their colleagues, they were seen as pioneers in Champagne Our future is inseparable from this past Today the domaine represents 4 ha of vines.
Family Domaine
Hélène and Jean have instilled a lasting dynamic, a wind of enthusiasm that brings with it a natural principle : "return to the fundamentals of viticulture to leave all the room for the microcosm of Hautvillers From the vine to the wine, it expresses its full dimension with the terroir as a common thread.
Viticulture
As for the vine, our imprint on the wines wants to be as light as possible Interventions are limited to what is strictly necessary Driven by our convictions, our cuvées highlight the sobriety of our philosophy wine and nothing but wine Aging in wood for one year (tanks and barrels only) No inputs No filtration or fining True to our values, a parcel based approach is also one of our desires, to demonstrate the constancy of our organic viticulture.
Winemaking
Our philosophy is simple, natural, caring
- A Premier Cru terroir that offers a rich diversity and breathes in equally varied cuvées
- Cuvées produced with the greatest respect for the wine and for the characteristics of our land of Hautvillers
To go as far as possible in our eco responsible approach, the labels of our cuvées are designed with recycled paper, made from organic waste (lemon and cane fibre)
