Chateau Moulinet Lasserre
Twin brother of Clos René, the Château Moulinet-Lasserre vineyard is located on the western slope of the Pomerol plateau and has belonged to the same family for several generations.
Its terroir, composed mainly of gravel, allows for full ripening of the fruit in both dry and rainy years. With an average age of 35 years, the vines, managed in a traditional manner, take full advantage of these warm soils.
The vinification process, which respects the grapes (harvested manually), is carried out in temperature-controlled vats. The wines are aged for 18 months in oak barrels, some of which are renewed each year.
The wines, delicate and pleasant in their youth, have a sumptuous structure which promises a lovely tertiary bouquet after a few years of aging.
