Domaine Nicolas Rossignol
THE DOMAINE
Born in 1974, Nicolas represents the Nigand started to work in the family’s domaine when he was just 20. After studied at the Lycée viticole in Beaune, he worked for Domaine Joseph Voillot, Domaine Louis Latour and Domaine Vieux Télégraphe in Châteauneuf. He also made wine in Boschendal in South Africa, and for Château la Cardonne in Bordeaux (then managed by the Lafite teamcollections/two-hands-wines).
In 1997, he started his own domaine with 3 hectares of vines which was inherited from an uncle. Today, the domaine covers 20 hectares from which come from more than 20 different wines.

Nicolas’s wines are fine-boned, elegant, deeply-coloured and flavourful. His low-interventionist winemaking philosophy ensures the full potential of the fruit and the commune is consistently expressed in the final wine.
