About Fei Tswei

Fei Tswei Winery planted its 82.4 hectare vineyard in 2013 among the famed eastern foothills of the Helan Mountain in Ningxia. The vineyard has an elevation of up to 1,162 metres above sea level. At this high altitude, the vines capture ample sunlight to produce fully ripe grapes. Fei Tswei Winery only produces wines from grapes grown in its own vineyard, fully embracing organic farming practices and hand-harvesting techniques. Our wines have won international awards and accolades. We hope you enjoy our wine too.

Ningxia Unique Terroir

Altitude and Climate

Our vineyards sit at 1,000-1,200m altitude, benefiting from a continental climate with 2,800-3,200 hours of sunshine annually and less than 200mm of rainfall per year.

Temperature Variations

Diurnal temperature variations of up to 15°C help preserve grape acidity, contributing to the unique character of our wines.

Geographical Protection

The Ningxia Helan Mountains stretch 200km from North to South, shielding the region from Gobi desert sandstorms and creating a protected microclimate for our vines.

Climate Regulation

The Siberian Cold Front creates a unique climate regulation influenced by the Yellow River and the Helan Mountains, further enhancing our terroir.
